Our MTN Blogs starts the year with full speed ahead!Sawe continues his Mighty Max theme inspired by the toys he had as a kid. Childhood nostalgia and pure style with an equal amount of greatness. When it comes to Brus, we are blessed with some of the images from his creation over at Art Basel Miami.
And, to round up, the TAD crew documented their first production of the year with a nice clip. Congratulations!
‘Celebrated international graffiti artists (and twin brothers) How & Nosm visited Palestine to see Israel’s occupation first hand and to work with UK-based charity, ‘Medical Aid for Palestinians‘ (MAP), on workshops with children at the Saraya Centre in Jerusalem’s Old City.
The Saraya Centre provides after-school psychosocial educational and recreational activities for Palestinian children growing up in East Jerusalem who face discrimination, racism and threats of displacement and military and settler violence.‘
It seems as if they have eliminated the video which documents the project made by the two writers from New York in October. So.. we leave you with some images made by William Parry taken from the coverage made by Huffingtonpost.
First Monday of the Year.
After confronting the cold climate of Poland, Tank decided to take his sprays, stencils and secret techniques to Manchester.
The art of Tank, inspired by portraits of women and geometric forms and animals, holds a combination of stencils, typography and traditional painting. But, what really opened our eyes this time is his choice of tools: MTN 94.
The boxes in which the cans comes are also used as a canvas this time. The outstanding technique of Tank mixed with the cardboard boxe’s design made by Sixpack combines to perfection, making the result a true and living homage to our MTN 94!
We grouped together the two following videos due to their origin.
First out we have a video which documents the process of a mural made by the artist Teas, and second we can see a time-lapse of Inti making a piece he called “La virgen de discordia“, a new video production by Tost Films.
A perfect moment to observe the importance of the personality in the illustration and styles in Chilean street art when presenting characters.
