It seems as though churches have become Okuda‘s specialty as he’s once again made some noise in international press for his intervention at the International Cannabis Church of Denver. It’s a peculiar temple that welcomes those who are adept to the “religious cult of the sacred herb” where they will now be bathed in the Santander artist’s powerful, colorist style.

This new intervention is the fourth temple decoration that Okuda has completed after his inaugural “Kaos Temple” in Asturias, the “11 Mirages to the Freedom” of Youssoufia and the “Universal Chapel” in Arkansas. Chop ‘Em Down Films gives us a run down on the process and meaning of this fascinating artwork that we hope isn’t affected over time… by smoke.
